About us
Dr. Park Se-jun worked as a senior researcher at a bio venture company and developed small molecule therapeutics and antibody therapeutics for the treatment of diseases such as MASH and HCC. In particular, he is an expert in new drug development, such as establishing an in vitro MASH model, exploring therapeutic antibodies and small molecule therapeutic candidates, evaluating the efficacy of candidate substances, and conducting MOA studies on target proteins.
After receiving his doctorate in biotechnology from Korea University, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher and conducted research on various aspects of fat cell differentiation and thermogenesis regulation mechanisms for the purpose of obesity treatment. In particular, he analyzed the characteristics of each fat cell (white, brown, and beige) using human adipose stem cells through proteomics, and conducted research such as evaluating the efficacy of phytochemicals and analyzing the functions of various transcription factors.
Based on this extensive and high-level understanding of new drug development, he will fulfill his responsibility to meet the demands of customers and perform bio/new drug technology commercialization that meets their needs, and to ensure the successful commercialization of excellent domestic bio/new drug technology.
Doctor of Philosophy - PhD, Biotechnology, Korea University
Postdoctoral Researcher, Department of Life Sciences, Korea University
Professor at Sam Yook Univ.. for Bio-oncology studies
